Lies Of Omission is a masterpiece of emotion. I am still shocked how a story that was not huge in word count, managed to take me on such a long ride through the lives of two men.
Michele has succeeded in portraying the raw emotions of betrayal, the heat and fury of confrontation, and the horror of abuse to such a degree that you actually 'feel' it within your soul. One thing I did not expect when reading this title was how like a roller-coaster it would be, plummeting down the track to loss and sadness, and then gut-renchingly upward towards passion so intense that it leaves you with goosebumps.
Michele is a skilled Author, her characters 'live' within you, her storyline flows impeccably from start to finish.
The title manages to hook the reader from the very first page and does not let go until the final word.
